Travelling from Dulles airport to Bethesda.
The Washington Metro is a cheap and safe way to get you around.
At Dulles airport arrivals exit Door Number 4 to catch the Washington Flyer to the nearest Metro station Wiehle-Reston East (it’s the only stop), this is $5 paid by cash or card.
At Wiehle-Reston East take the escalator up and cross the concourse, purchase a Travel Smart Trip Card from the machine and catch the Silver Line into Metro Centre where you need to change onto the red line that goes out to Shady Grove. Bethesda is the stop you need for the Hyatt Regency which is right behind you as you emerge from the Metro station. If you are travelling directly to the conference you’ll need the next stop up, Medical Centre.
