Will a data projector be provided?

Yes.

 

Is there a laptop available?

Yes – we will have a Mac and a PC available in the room for your use.

 

Do I need to bring a CAT cable for internet connection?

We will provide internet cables.

 

Should I bring my presentations on a thumb drive?

Bring your PPT on a thumbdrive that is compatible with both PCs and Macs-a duplicate is a good idea.

 

What if I need something printed?

There is a business center at the conference site (The Hanover Inn). The Hanover Inn business center offers complimentary Ethernet, both wireless and wired, as well as a computer and printer. They also offer copy, fax and FedEx service at the front desk for a small fee. If you need to ship packages ahead, you may send them to The Hanover Inn, marked “POD Conference/Your Name” at 2 East Wheelock Street, Hanover, NH 03755. There is also a full-service copy shop next door (Gnomon Copy in Hanover, NH) http://www.gnomoncopy.net/

 

How big is the area for my poster?

Posters will be displayed on an easel that is 36” high by 48” wide (landscape orientation).

 

Are there easels available?

Easels will be provided.

How do I attach my poster to easel?

Push pins and tape will be provided.

 

 

FAQS: Conference Attendees

 

Will meals be provided?

The following meals will be provided for registered conference attendees on site at the Hanover Inn:

Monday evening 9/9 (6–8:30 pm): Welcome reception; hearty hors d’oeuvres & cash bar

Tuesday 9/10: Continental breakfast, tea & coffee break, buffet sandwich/salad lunch, tea & coffee break, cocktail hour and welcome dinner

Wednesday 9/11: Continental breakfast, tea & coffee break, boxed picnic take-away lunch, tea & coffee break. Dinner is on your own; restaurant suggestions at this link: http://www.hanoverchamber.org/view.members.php?c=cat_eat

Thursday 9/12: Hearty continental breakfast, tea & coffee break; conference concludes at 12:30

Guest tickets may be purchased on site for the Welcome Reception & Welcome Dinner at the following prices:

How do I rent a car?

Shuttle service sponsored by the conference will be provided throughout the conference to the reserved area hotels; schedule will be available at the front desk of all reserved hotels and at the registration table at the conference.

 

Restaurants?

Is there an exercise facility?
The Hanover Inn features a fitness room in the hotel, open 24 hours a day with a room key. It has treadmills, elliptical, recumbent bikes, a cybex universal machine, free weights, exercise balls and mats, as well as exercise/ jogging maps at the front desk.
