WONCA Special Interest Group on Quaternary Prevention and Overmedicalization (QP&O).

An international network to support ongoing activities and promote dissemination and skills to apply the concepts all over the world.

Quaternary prevention provides a complex but necessary approach oriented to provide person-focused care; promote equity in healthcare; prevent overdiagnosis, unnecessary interventions, and avoid harm: and so, in few words, to humanize medicine. All the efforts within this global movement combine ethical sustainability with critical thinking, to oppose the vision of health as a commodity

 

The NoGracias Platform is a civil non-profit association, whose ultimate goal is to promote a democratic health system at the service of society, that is, public,
sustainable, based on the best scientific knowledge and in which transparency, integrity and equity presides over the actions of all its agents. The activity of NoGracias began in 2008. It is multifocal Spain and South America Argentina and Uruguay.

 

PODC Local Partner

Local partners are offered to opportunity to enter into a marketing exchange agreement where company logo is displayed on the website and conference app, reduced rate registration is made available to a maximum of 10 employees.

Promotion of the conference is expected by:

 

• Displaying conference banner(s) on partner websites

• Advertising on internal company newsletters with relevant targeting

• Promotion via any facebook and twitter account(s)

• Distribution of conference e-flyers to relevant mailing lists

• Local partners come from within the geographical location e.g. Oxford 2020 can have local partners from the British Isles & Ireland.
